Montague's Melbourne hospitality evening
/To celebrate the 2017 stonefruit season , Gastrology recently spent an evening at Green Park Dining with members of the food community to indulge in beautiful stone fruit from Montague Fresh.
On the evening , the versatility of Montague’s plums, peaches, and necatarines was demonstrated through various dishes. The woodfired nectarines with King Island sheep yoghurt, and fresh peaches with prosciutto were well balanced with sweet and salty elements that combined to provide a tantalising appetiser. To conclude the evening, plum and whipped buffalo ricotta tarts were served as a dessert to provide a sweet finish to the evening.
Montague stonefruits are now in season, which is great news for both your tastebuds and your health. Sweet, firm and juicy stone fruit not only tastes great but also has health benefits such as Vitamin C to boost your immunity and potassium to promote healthy nerves and muscles.
