All-you-can-eat yum cha at David’s

David’s is a contemporary Shanghainese restaurant inspired by owner, David Zhou’s hometown Zhouzhang, a water village in which his family’s recipes originated. Loved by locals for over 20 years, it’s no secret that David’s authentic menu showcases some of the finest dumplings in town while treating guests as an extension of Zhou’s own family.

Zhou’s s philosophy is simple: to create food that shares his journey from Shanghai to Melbourne, showing his story on a plate. Weekends at David’s uphold this ethos with their iconic and ever popular all-you-can-eat yum cha.

Roving around on trays is an abundance of xiao long baos, peking duck pancakes, Sweet and Chunky Eggplant, oodles of noodles, seafood dumplings and delicious desserts. Offering one of Melbourne’s most memorable yum cha experiences guests can expect over 30 varieties of dishes – all made with authentic Shanghainese flavours with fresh, local ingredients.
