By The Glass presents Wine By Sam
/By The Glass will be refreshing their menu every six weeks and provide customers with a journey in wine, both locally and international. Every Friday night, the vibrant and friendly team deliver 5 courses paired with 5 wines in collaboration with local wineries. In residence this month is Wines by Sam, where guests will be guided through an amazing selection of wine from the Seymour region whilst dining on a delicious 5-course menu.
We loved visiting By The Glass to enjoy the stunning bespoke menu which was paired with an amazing selection of wine from Primitivo to Viognier to ensure the perfect plate-to-glass experience within an intimate, modern and moody vibe.
It was an excellent opportunity to connect with Australian winemaker, Sam Plunkett from WineXSam. During our visit, Sam even provided guests with an interesting taste of a current vintage 2023 wine under fermentation, in addition to the featured wines of the evening.
Think pairings such as WineXSam Prosecco with oysters, the Riesling with Kangaroo Tartare, Primitivo with Poached Parsnip, Cabernet Sauvignon with the Lamb racks, and Viognier with dessert.
