The interior design is full of character - quirky and modern, uniting elements of traditional modernist luxury with more offbeat colours, textures and patterns. And the overall result, East Hotel has personality.

Despite the boutique feel, East Hotel boasts all of the amenities you could even want – Nespresso Coffee machines in every room, luxurious Appelles amenities, a fully equipped gym, a pool nearby, free bikes for a cycle around the lake and several delicious restaurants.

We thoroughly loved spending a foodie weekend away at East Hotel. There’s so much to eat, drink and enjoy at the hotel, you won’t want to leave!

Staying in the Luxe Apartment

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the Luxe Apartment. “Luxe” is totally accurate as the apartment is huge and boasts a separate living room, bedroom, balcony, bathroom with an executive tub and kitchen that makes it ideal for travelling families. Laundry facilities are also available.

In-room dining

Staying at East Hotel is a foodie’s dream and it starts with their restaurant quality, in-room dining service.

Dining in the comfort of your hotel room (and let’s be honest, while wearing a bath robe) often comes with big compromises – lifeless ceaser salads, boring club sandwiches and anaemic burgers, wheeled into your room 45 minutes after ordering is the norm.

Not so at East Hotel. We were super impressed by the in-room dining we experienced. Think authentic Italian pizza delivered straight from the oven, fresh antipasto and of course, beautiful pastas. Everything was delivered to our room in less that 20 minutes so we barely had time to have a glass of wine before it arrived. We also loved that the food arrived transported in rustic wooden boxes and not under dated metal cloches on a massive trolley - it’s these little touches and attention to detail that makes all the difference when away from home.

Without exception, the staff at East Hotel were professional, friendly and always worked hard to ensure our stay was as enjoyable as possible. From the excellent food, delicious wines and beautiful room, we enjoyed our weekend away at East Hotel immensely and simply cannot wait to return.
