Emirates business class lounge, Dubai Airport Concourse B
/As expected, Emirates delivers a truly luxurious and seamless travel experience when departing from Dubai Airport in business class.
The experience begins when you arrive at Emirates’ dedicated premium passenger terminal, where check in and passing through customs and security is a rapid and effortless experience.
Just upstairs and fresh from refurbishment, the Emirates business class lounge at Concourse B is huge and divided into a number of distinct zones - ranging from bustling to tranquil. Although the lounge can get busy at peak times, the sheer size means there are alway plenty of quiet corners where you can relax in peace.
The furniture and decor are unambiguously “Emirates” and reflect the airline’s distinct design aesthetic and trade mark beige, brown and gold colour palette.
Emirates being Emirates, there is a strong focus on food and beverages, with different parts of the lounge playing host to buffet spreads of different global cuisines. For a quick pick me up there is a Costa Coffee counter and to indulge your sweet tooth, there is also a dedicated dessert station and ice-cream cart.
Wine lovers are not neglected either with a wide variety of red, white and sparkling wines on offer from the various staffed bars throughout the lounge, with a definite focus on French varieties.
One section of the lounge we highly recommend is the Moet & Chandon Champagne Lounge located in the rear corner. In addition to the standard Moët & Chandon Brut, this bar allows guests to sample a truly luxurious selection of Rosé Impérial, Nectar Impérial and Grand Vintage 2008.
Of course, the lounge at Concourse B also boasts the usual suspects - free high speed wifi, an abundance of charging points, computer workstations, day beds as well as prayer and smoking areas.
Overall, the Emirates business class lounge is a highly recommended oasis within one of the busiest airports in the world.
