This Father’s Day, treat dad to a luxe experience at the Grosvenor Hotel, complete with your company and the best steak he’s had all year.

On Sunday 1st September, young and old children will stop to applaud and reflect on the sacrifices, hard work and bad jokes of the father figures in their lives. To celebrate, the Grosvenor Hotel has created an exceptional dish, just for this special day: Pasture fed Filet Mignon paired with duck fat chips, creamed spinach, kohlrabi remoulade topped with parsley hollandaise for $45.

The Grosvenor is committed to sourcing only the best premium grade meat from some of the country’s most reputable suppliers.

To help deliver on this promise, Grosvenor’s Chef and his team have adopted a strict approach to sourcing, ageing and preparing their entire range of meats.

Over the last 40 years, they have forged close relationships with some of the country’s best farmers and livestock producers, hence are able to select meats from farms across Victoria, Tasmania and New South Wales.

Grosvenor’s selection criterion looks at an animal’s breed, weight, feeding pattern, marbling, pH level, colour and ageing of the meat to ensure consistent high quality.
