Frankie's Top Shop

Housed within the historic old Kiosk site in Cowderoy Street in St Kilda West, Frankie’s Top Shop is all about hearty, healthy, feel good options.

Frankie’s Top Shop is the embodiment of owner Michele Curtis' vision for a part café, part foodstore and part corner milk bar operation and has resulted in a cosy eatery which is a nod to the site’s previous long term owner Frank, as well as her favourite café in Byron Bay, The Top Shop.

The cafe serves the food Michele herself likes to eat - and everything is scrumptious!

There is a core range of at least six salads such as Raw broccoli salad with barberries, toasted almonds and yoghurt dressing, or her Red grain salad with spiced nuts, pomegranates, herbs and green tahini dressing. These are teamed up with protein such as miso salmon, herb & lemon chicken, slow-roasted spiced lamb and cauliflower bakes, offering customers the choice of mixing and matching.

Healthy breakfast options include Smashed roasted sweet potato and turmeric with a poached egg, toasted seeds, herbs and feta, or Folded eggs with mushroom, parmesan, herbs, spring onions and super greens.

Freshly made roast chicken sandwiches, hearty pies, tarts and daily specials round out the menu with plenty of healthy take home options. Dukes organic coffee, decadent home-made slices and small cakes will tempt and at least 50 per cent of the menu is gluten-free.
