Galaxy Bar & Restaurant's is a stunning restaurant located on the top floor of Hilton Athens overlooking the Acropolis and Lycabettus Hill. Boasting a generous veranda, the restaurant promises amazing nights under the stars of the Athenian sky.

Kostas Athanassiou, executive chef, Hilton Athens, impresses with his innovative menu. Start dinner with tuna tartare served with pea and melon soup and taste the freshness and flavours of the Mediterranean Sea. Octopus carpaccio with anchovy-flavoured toasted bread, traditional wild greens pie with oil rusks from Cythera Island and Caesar salad with lobster give traditional Greek tastes an international flair. The Black Angus flat iron steak served tagliata style has already become one of the most popular dishes – and for good reason. The steak we ordered was cooked to absolute perfection. Displaying a mastery in the manner the steak was cooked, the inch thick cut of beef was cooked perfectly from end to end. A good searing ensured that the steak was lined with a thin crisp layer packed with caramelised beef flavour. Another must have is the orzo with mushrooms, smoked gais cheese and black truffle. Simply heavenly. There is also a whole section of the menu dedicated to sushi fans who will not only enjoy sashimi and nigiri but will also have the chance to experience maki such as the Dragon Roll with panko shrimp California Roll with Hamachi fish and yuzu lemon sauce, and Eel Maki with eel and fish roe.

As for the desert menu, there is a lot to love too. Think dark chocolate crémeux tart with black cherries and vanilla ice cream or coconut mille-feuille with salted caramel sauce with Greek coffee sauce to offer the perfect closure to your fantastic dining experience.
