Green Phoenix

Green Phoenix is a wonderful addition to Brunswick's burgeoning food scene. A gorgeous neighbourhood café that draws locals and visitors alike, the cafe serves a delicious variety of breakfast and lunch options that cater to most. As expected of any great Melbourne café, coffee is great and poured by adept baristas.

We loved every dish we tried. The Hash Stack was delicious - an absolute mst-have. Crispy on the outside and moist on the inside and served with smashed avocado and quinoa salsa and dressed in lemon vinaigrette alongside spinach, crispy enoki and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.

The Craboulade was similarly delightful and featured crab cakes with two poached eggs, broccolini, mango salsa, chipotle remoulade, and served on a bed of pea puree.

To finish, we loved the Sweet Saffron and ricotta hotcakes which was delightfully vegan and served with soy ice cream, poached pear, mixed berries, kiwi, passion fruit, orange ricotta, and dressed in a butterscotch sauce. Just yum!
