Harvest
/The much-anticipated Harvest opened its doors on Claremont Street in South Yarra in late September, showcasing chef and owner Tim Martin’s passion for a genuine dining experience. The all-day coffeehouse, bar and eatery features a refined menu of wine, aged meats and fermented products.
Martin brings 16 years of experience to his first solo venture after making his mark as head chef at The European and winning The Age Good Food Guide’s Young Chef of the Year in 2015.
We enjoyed visiting Harvest for brekkie. Casual, with simple and well-priced food, Harvest, as its name suggests, focuses on the produce.
The breakfast menu features a selection of toasties and pastries as well as more substantial dishes such as Benedict muffins with brown butter hollandaise and ham off the bone. Our top pick is the Grilled haloumi, asparagus and baby spinach salad. Every element is carefully prepared and taste simply beautiful.
Coffee is served around the clock and is made with Harvest’s original blend, the locally roasted One More Cup of Coffee (named in a nod to Bob Dylan).
