Kata Kita
/Kata Kita takes classic home-cooked Indonesian food to new heights. With an emphasis on fresh flavours and aromatic delights, Kata Kita introduces a captivating winter menu that showcases the rich diversity and nuances of Indonesian cuisine.
In their quest to offer the best experience possible, Kata Kita's new winter menu centers around the art of feasting, encouraging guests to immerse themselves in a delightful journey of flavors. With an extensive range of exciting new dishes, some standout highlights include a new Satay platter with satays from all around Indonesia as well as smoked Kingfish "Gohu" which is an explosion of flavours, combining smoked kingfish with a tantalising blend of chillies, onions, and kaffir lime leaf. The dish is taken to another level with the addition of a palm bitternut cracker that adds a delightful crunch to every bite.
For mains, do not go past the new O'Connor Short Ribs "Sop Konro" dish. Slow-cooked for an impressive 12 hours, the O'Connor Short Ribs are grilled to perfection and served with a luscious smoked peanut sauce. Complementing this dish is a spiced beef ribs soup that is sure to warm your soul.
For dessert, a sweet ending awaits with the heavenly Pandan Basque Cheesecake. Infused with the delicate aroma of pandan leaves, each velvety bite will leave you craving more.
As the restaurant continues to evolve its culinary offerings, some dishes have already earned their place as all-time favourites. Among these classics are the Babi Guling, and our personal favourite, the Grilled Pomfret "Ikan Bakar" which is smoked to perfection in a banana leaf, marinated with turmeric and aromatic spices.
Gather your loved ones, embrace the spirit of Ayo Makan, and indulge in the culinary wonders that await at Kata Kita.
