Little Flinders
/Tazio's sister venue Little Flinders has just launched in December and offers a delicious menu of reimagined classics.
The dining area is modern, relaxed and flexible, effortlessly combining the best of a bar, restaurant and cafe.
The mixed dips with grilled Lebanese flat bread was an excellent start. The carrot cumin and beetroot pesto was particularly delicious. For mains we recommend something from the "Tailor made" section. Choose a seafood/meat and pair it with your favourite sides and sauce. On the evening of our visit, the market fish on offer was tuna. We were pleased that it was cooked to perfection - beautifully seared on the outside and pink in the middle. Also notable is the reimagined chicken Parma which is served as a delicious, crumbed roulade.
A duo of desserts was a stunning end to what was a fabulous dinner. While everything was absolutely delicious, the deconstructed pavlova with seasonal fruit and cream was of particular note. Featuring a vibrant combination of flavours, the pavlova had a pleasant balance with the sweetness of the meringue blending well with fresh tartness of the fruit and melt in your mouth lashings of mellow cream.
Little Flinders impresses with the freshness of its ingredients and the warmth of its service.
