Little Glenny - Tiny Away
/Imagine waking up in a cosy little cabin to the sounds of birds chirping. You look out the window and beautiful rosellas have come to pay you a visit. It's wonderfully tranquil and oh so zen. That is what Little Glenny is all about.
Little Glenny is part of the tiny house movement - a global movement that recognises the benefits of smaller spaces. For Little Glenny, this means providing a quick getaway in idyllic landscapes for people to escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
An escape to Little Glenny is a compelling proposition - a truly unique experience. We loved the entire experience and being able to interact with nature in a comfortable setting which did not detract from the experience.
Guests are warmly welcomed to the property by Leo and Diane. The tiny house itself is absolutely gorgeous - Think large windows and a cute little deck with lovely furnishings. While there are dining options just around the corner, we highly recommend settling in and cooking within the Little Glenny so you can have a truly intimate experience rather than going into town to eat.
Arriving at Little Glenny, it's hard to believe you're only a couple of hours from the city. The space has all the comforts of home minus the clutter and stress. The experience transports you a million miles away and is ideal for some R&R and rejuvenation.
The property features golden rays filtering through the rows of trees, and offers boundless rolling hills for guests to explore, including an abundance of wildlife. Best of all, it is an incredibly ideal spot for bird watching. Leo and Diane have carefully positioned a couple of bird feeding stations just outside Little Glenny so you can enjoy the beautiful native birds visiting throughout the day. We spotted Rosellas, Kookaburras, Rainbow Lorikeets and Cockatoos!
A little drive from Little Glenny, Sedona Estate (182 Shannons Rd, Murrindindi) is a stunning winery that is a must-visit when in the area. We highly recommend you visit the cellar door for an incredible wine-tasting. We were lucky enough to have the wine maker himself, Paul take us through the range and we can confirm the wines here are simply beautiful. In fact, we took home a case to enjoy later.
