Little Oscar’s founder Lorance Darwish was driven by his love of food and decided to shake up the gourmet burger scene when he discovered a lack of variety within the market. Combining all three of Lorance's loves - food, cocktails and design, the result is a space which celebrates traditional culinary flavours reinterpreted in a unique way, vibrant cocktails and a slick interior design which pushes the boundaries of what people perceive a burger restaurant and bar should look like.

The restaurant and bar also plays host to local jazz musicians and DJ’s who set the tone for a unique burger dining experience.

The kitchen is headed by Head Chef William Riman who has a strong passion for authentic food and environmental sustainability. The menu is ideal for sharing with friends. Each dish features a modern fusion of Korean-American flavours, inspired by the Koreatown precinct on West 32nd Street, New York. 

We loved the ‘Lower East Side’ burger featuring a premium wagyu beef patty topped with spicy chorizo, jalapeno, cheese, avocado smash, coriander and chipotle sour cream. We also enjoyed the heavy Korean influence on the calamari salad which featured perfectly fried calamari, pickled cucumber, pickled carrots, sesame seed, Chinese cabbage and fresh mint.

To finish off the Little Oscar dining experience we recommend their delectable dessert of Pistachio nest which is made in house using fresh pastry accompanied by pistachio gelato and finished with lychee.

The dining experience at Little Oscar is a unique one.
