MIFF Unwritten Reviews

Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) allows audiences to see another side of film. They’re more challenging, confronting and emotive, offering an experience that often can’t be explained in words. To launch the 2018 festival program, MIFF has taken an alternative method of reviewing films through taste, sight and sound. 

Without any words , these six 'Unwritten Reviews' have been created by diverse Melbourne artists, including the chef from Supernormal, a master brewer from the Mornington Peninsula , a local indigenous artist, music producer, 1806 cocktail mixologist and even a tattoo artist. These reviewers illustrated their thoughts on the film they watched through their own medium.
