Oasia Hotel Novena, Singapore - An inner city oasis

Located in Novena, an area named after the landmark Novena Church, Oasia Hotel Novena is a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of Singapore. 

The hotel has an emphasis on wellness which is reflected in the soothing interior design, excellent 24-hour fitness centre, 2 swimming pools (one of which is reserved for guests with Club Benefits) and complimentary in room coconut water and bottled water which is refreshed daily.

Oasia Hotel Novena is centrally located and boasts 2 nearby shopping malls. Getting around is wonderfully easy as the basement of the hotel is connected directly to the extremely efficient MRT underground system. This is an amazing feature which makes accessing the Central Business District and main shopping areas like Orchard Road a breeze. 

We checked into our sleek and spacious Club Room high on the 24th floor which boasted lovely views out over the surrounding area. Designed by award-winning Japanese interior designer, Takashi Sugimoto of Super Potato the room provides an immediate sense of tranquility with generous use of blonde timbers and subdued lighting as well as a generously sized bathroom featuring a bath tub and rain shower.

In terms of amenities, our room boasted an iPod dock, large LCD TV, Nespresso machine, electric blinds as well as a “Handy Phone” which is a complimentary smartphone provided by the hotel which comes with unlimited mobile internet access and unlimited local and international calls - it was an absolute lifesaver and made our stay in Singapore so much easier. 

Our Club Room gave us access to the wonderful world of Club Benefits including free wifi, 2 pieces of laundry per day and access to The Living Room. The Living Room is a relaxed, communal space on the 22nd floor offering wonderful views of the city, snacks and refreshments throughout the day including an open bar between 6 and 8 pm, as well as a separate, exclusive infinity pool. The Club Benefits continue even after you check out of the hotel as they come with airport lounge vouchers so you can get onto your plane refreshed - who doesn’t like a shower at the airport before their flight?

Of course, amazing food is everywhere in Singapore but Oasia Hotel’s Marmalade Pantry has you covered if you feel like staying in. Located in the lobby of Oasia Hotel Novena, the Marmalade Pantry serves delicious comfort food using fresh and seasonal produce. Their legendary, award winning cupcakes are a definite must try.
