One By One

One by One has all the locals completely in love and it’s easy to understand why. The cafe boasts great coffee poured by adept baristas and an interesting brunch menu.

An absolute highlight was the Blueberry Hotcake. Think fluffy, inch-thick blueberry hotcake topped with a tart rhubarb and strawberry compote, luxurious homemade lemon curd, fresh berries, pistachio mascarpone and finished with pure Canadian maple syrup. It’s a thing of beauty.

If you’re not keen dessert for brunch then we recommend with Twice cooked Otway Pork Belly. Unctuous pieces of crispy pork belly that have been marinated in Chinese spices are served with a fresh green papaya slaw, peanuts, tofu and topped with homemade chilli jam and nam jim dressing.
