PATRÓN Tequila Día De Muertos cocktail recipes

The darkly beautiful Mexican festival Día De Muertos (Day of the dead) is fast approaching, and this year, will fall on Tuesday November 2nd.

Día De Muertos has quickly become a popular festival celebrated all over the world – and with restrictions easing around the country, more Australians than ever will celebrate the festival this year, and if there’s one way to join in, it’s raising a glass and celebrating the spirits with Mexico’s finest, PATRÓN Tequila.

Here are two amazing Día De Muertos themed cocktails that include Patrón Silver Tequila to celebrate!

Recipe: PATRÓN Silver El Diablo

Ingredients:

45 ml Patrón Silver

30 ml Fresh lime juice

30 ml Ginger beer

7.5 ml Cassis de Bordeaux

Lime wedge for garnish

Method:

Combine all ingredients except ginger beer in a cocktail shaker and shake with ice to chill.

Strain onto fresh ice in a Collins glass.

Top with ginger beer and drizzle Cassis over the top.

Garnish with a lime wedge.

Recipe: PATRÓN Silver Paloma Roja

Ingredients:

60 ml PATRÓN Silver

75 ml Grapefruit juice

15 ml Fresh lemon juice

15 ml St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur

15 ml Hibiscus syrup

Salt & dried hibiscus rim

Orange zest for garnish

Method:

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice

Shake to chill and combine

Strain into a salt & dried hibiscus-rimmed Collins glass filled with fresh ice
