Pinkie

It’s good. Pinkie swear. The newest haunt by the people that brought you No.19 in Ascot Vale, and St Rose in Essendon, Pinkie is a lovely café in Ivanhoe that is simply a lovely place for a weekend brunch.

As expected, the coffee here is great and there are also plenty of non-coffee options like matcha and turmeric lattes.

On the food front there is much to love. For something nutrient dense and delicious we recommend the Superfood salad which is a beautiful amalgamation of kale, quinoa, granny smith apple, halloumi, almonds, goji, chia, sumac hummus and comes with optional grilled chicken slices.

If you’re looking to spoil yourself then the Sweet and salty pancakes are an absolute must-have. The best pancakes we’ve tasted in a while, think fluffy pancakes stacked with whipped honey ricotta, salty dulce de leche, banana, raspberry and white chocolate crumbs. Just yum!
