Resto BoBo
/Inspired by the north east region of France, Resto Bobo has recently opened its doors in the heart of Windsor serving up simple yet delicious Tarte flambées. Resto Bobo is the first restaurant in Australia which focuses their menu on the ultra thin and crispy dough base dish with authentic imported French cheeses and ingredients.
In the relaxed and casual atmosphere at Resto Bobo, customers are encouraged to enjoy a glass of wine and share the Tarte flambées so that they can try the wide variety of options. The Tarte flambées incorporate only a handful of simple ingredients which makes for an unpretentious experience.
For us, the highlight of the menu is the A la Peche Tarte flambée which consists of Salmon, dried raisins, almond nougatine and a splash of freshly squeezed lemon juice. The lemon juice wonderfully boosts the flavour of the Tarte flambée and adds that bit of citrus to create a harmonious balance of flavours. The sweet Tarte flambées are also divine as we enjoyed the theatre of the La Dent Sucrée being lit up in front of us and Le Choconnana which was filled with bananas and our favorite guilty pleasure - nutella!
