Sartoria

Sartoria Melbourne is a fully licensed café which boasts a menu of innovative brunch and lunch dishes.
The name Sartoria is a nod to the eatery’s former life as J & C Agricola, a dressmaking, bridal and evening wear business that thrived from the 1970s through to the 1990s under the guidance of Joseph and Carmela Agricola. J & C Agricola may have been long gone but the former dress factory has now been converted to Sartoria thanks to owner – and Joseph and Carmela’s daughter – Adriana Agricola’s vision to combine two of her loves: food and fashion.
The eatery has a great vibe with plenty of natural light streaming through the windows alongside machinery and novelties straight from it’s dress factory days.
We loved that the Sartoria kitchen sources local produce wherever possible including bagels from 5 & Dime bagels and moreish cookies from Butterbing.
The menu has something to suit most. For the health fiends, the Spindle is a must. A super salad of kale, quinoa, puy lentils, beetroot, flax seeds and pecorino tied together with a pomegranate dressing. For something heartier, we recommend the Pattern - Think beautifully tender coconut beef rib served with a refreshing amalgamation of green papaya salad, tamarind, sweetfish, cucumber and mint.
