St Hallett Butcher's Cellar at Left Bank

St Hallett and Left Bank Melbourne  have teamed up to celebrate the insatiable combination of shiraz and steak.

For the month of October, the north west corner of the iconic Southbank bar will be converted into a butcher's cellar inspired by the rich history of red wine and red meat from St Hallett. The unique space will offer three St Hallett wines to complement the Left Bank special menu.

We tasted the St Hallett Eden Valley Riesling which is a great way to start off the dining experience as a refreshing white wine apertif. Then, to match the meatier dishes of lamb and steak, there is the St Hallett Garden of Eden Shiraz which is served from a carafe to accentuate the notes of chocolate and pepper. The other red wine on offer is the Butcher's Cart Shiraz which is a lovely full bodied red wine filled with berry fruits and subtle tannins.

Every Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday in October, there will be the opportunity to taste a part of the Barossa with food offerings
themed around Spanish Stone BBQ, the Butchers block (featuring Victorian steak), and Yakitori BBQ.

The St Hallett Butcher's Cellar will be popping up at Left Bank Melbourne from now until the 26th of October.
