Straight Outta Saigon
/

Tucked away along bustling Russell St, Straight Outta Saigon serves up a delicious spin on traditional Vietnamese cuisine.
We enjoyed taking the $65 dinner feast on a test drive. To start, we loved the pork belly bao which comprises of expertly prepared pork belly that boasted super crunchy crackling within a soft steamed bun. The betel leaf skewer was another excellent starter.
For mains the Saigon stir-fry Bo Luc Lac (Diced Beef) was a winner. A staple in Saigon, we loved the tender morsels of beef that had been fried with green and red capsicum, crispy kale, onions mixed and a special pepper sauce.
The sweet and spicy vegan duck was similarly delicious. Think crispy mock duck served with a mint, cucumber and fresh chillies.
Dessert time continued to please. Whatever you do, make sure you try the fried Orea bao. You can thank us later!
