Thai Town is a bustling and vibrant restaurant in the heart of Melbourne. The decor is modern and relaxed with a welcoming vibe.
We loved tasting our way through their menu. There is so much to love.
The massaman curry was beautiful. The dish consisted of tender, flavour-infused beef morsels thoroughly coated in a mouth-watering curry of various spices. Together with coconut rice, this was an addictive and comforting dish.
The Prawn Stir-Fry with Shrimp Paste and Bitter Bean was similarly delicious - Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.
The Steamed Whole Barramundi with Ginger, Spring Onion and Soy Sauce was our favourite dish. We loved how fresh the fish tasted. It was truly wonderfully prepared.
Dessert time continued to please at Thai Town with a range of delicious options. We opted for the dessert of Thai milk tea ice cream with milk tea and grass jelly as well as the Sticky Rice Mango and both did not disappoint!
On the drinks front, these guys excel when it comes to cocktails. Whatever you do, make sure you try the Lady Boy Fairy - a stunning and heady mix of vodka, vanilla syrup, Malibu, coconut milk, coconut juice and Blue Cacau. Just yum!
