The Store Room

Hidden away from prying eyes, The Store Room is one the best kept secrets in St Kilda. The magic starts when you arrive. Patrons need to dial up the automated phone sitting inside the doorway to request entry. Inside, you are greeted by an exceedingly charming and eclectic speakeasy (former barbershop) which is furnished with interesting collectables from a 1980s Mickey Mouse telephone to an Arne Jacobsen armchair.

On the drinks list you'll find everything from Gin to Agave, Savignon Blanc to a heavenly Velvet Glove Shiraz, and even a selection of Japanese whiskeys. The cocktails here are a notch up. If you love cocktails, do not go past the Pina Colada, it’s seriously one of the best versions we have ever tasted in Melbourne. The secret, we are told is the use of coconut sugar. Just. Yum.

The Store Room also offers a refined selection of hand-picked cheeses, cold meats and a killer jaffle, perfect for grazing on over the winter months. 

The Store Room is certainly the perfect destination to start or finish a night out.
