This Is Life, Family Wellness Emporium is the brainchild of husband and wife team Ashley and Michaela. It is Melbourne's very first wellness emporium designed with busy families and humans in mind. The Emporium consists of a wholesome cafe, chiropractic services, yoga, kids yoga, food workshops, health coaches, meditation, workshops, cooking classes and a whole lot more.

This is Life was inspired by Ashley and Michaela’s precious daughter Charlotte who changed their lives when she came into their world 2 years ago. Juggling parenthood, all aspects of life, relationships and work made the couple think about creating a community-minded business that catered for every member of the family at the same time, which promises to leave guests inspired, nurtured and truly nourished from the inside out. This Is Life achieves exactly what it sets out to do.

We loved visiting This Is Life’s café for brunch. Think wholesome and nourishing food for the soul that tastes good and also leaves you feeling awesome! Our top picks include the Happy Gut Bowl which is an enticing amalgamation of brown rice, Asian greens, house fermented vegetables, avocado, wakame furikake brought together by a umami laden ginger sesame dressing which we recommend you have with a side of the Raw Poke Salmon. 

Another stunner is the beetroot waffles. Think fluffy beetroot and teff waffles boasting a crisp exterior served with creamy crushed green peas and avocado, roasted tomatoes and adorned with cashew cream cheese and finger lime.

The drinks menu is equally as exciting. Apart from the usual coffee options, there are the very in vogue matcha, beetroot and golden latte options as well as a range of moreish smoothies, teas, iced coolers as well as a dedicated kids drinks section.
