From the group that brought you the ever popular Mob in Camberwell and Bentwood in Fitzroy, Tinker is another café that is simply too easy to love. 

The interior is sleek - inspired by minimalist designs and boasts an open kitchen at the back where guests can catch a glimpse of all the action.

As expected of any good Melbourne café, the coffee is great and poured by adept baristas.

The menu features a myriad of delicious and interesting brunch options to suit everyone. 

We loved tasting our way through the menu. The Miso Salmon Flora Bowl was a delightfully delicious dish featuring a perfectly cooked sliced of miso salmon swerved with bonito, brown rice, pickled red cabbage, kale, edamame, avocado, pineapple kimchi and topped with a luscious miso ginger dressing.

For something heartier, the waffle eggs benedict is a must. A modern twist on a breakfast staple, this generous plate stacks fluffy cheddar cornbread waffles with tender pulled smoked beef brisket, two poached eggs encasing dripping yolk, watercress, chipotle hollandaise and sweet potato crisps.

For health fiends, the detox salad is a must. We loved the tender morsels of chicken surrounded by kale, red cabbage, wild rice, sweet corn, pepitas, carrot, broccoli, walnuts, grana padano and all brought together with a ginger dressing.

Whatever you do, do not leave without trying the Mango and Saffron Panna Cotta  An absolutely decadent and gratifying plate of pannacotta with vanilla, almond and cranberry granola, strawberries, passionfruit, raspberry and coconut.
