White Mojo

White Mojo continues the trend of too-pretty-to-eat, delicious fare and excellent coffee. The ambience is chic and charming with a modern interior, wooden panels and furnishings alongside its' signature hexagonal marble print tables.

The latest menu continues to feature fresh and modern cafe cuisine. A true example of how Melbourne is pushing the boundaries of the humble brunch.

A cappuccino and latte arrives for our caffeine fix for the day, and as expected, each contained a perfect layer of silken froth, complete with flawless rosettas, and tasted terrific. There is also black latte on offer which is made from a delicious blend of stone grinded black sesame, almond and peanut and steamed soy milk which goes down a treat.

An absolute highlight of our visit was the dish of confit salmon. We loved the melt in your mouth salmon served with poached asparagus, pickled seasonal vegetables, fish caviar, horseradish gremolata, fennel salad and a creamy smooth sweet corn puree. It was heaven on a plate.

If you prefer to start your day in a sweeter manner, the Flamingo Waffle is a dish that manages to taste even better than it looks. Waffles were topped with lavender yoghurt, raspberry gel, mascarpone cream, fresh berries, red velvet macaron, white chocolate popping candy, fairy floss and strawberry ice cream. We loved how the flavours worked well together producing a wonderfully balanced dish with bold, attention-grabbing flavours.

Armed with amiable staff and a great selection of exciting food and beverage, White Mojo puts most cafes to shame.
