Dolce Notte at Pidapipó
/Dolce Notte is an exciting new initiative by Pidapipó set to change the way you experience gelato.
On the first Friday of every month Pidapipó will serve an exclusive dessert at both of its stores, in collaboration with a Melbourne chef including the likes of Pierre Roelof, Tony Nicolini of D.O.C and Adam D’Sylva of Coda.
As always Pidapipó will focus on seasonality, the use of premium local ingredients and taste, with the desserts designed to be playful, indulgent and reflect the signature style of each chef.
Highly acclaimed pastry chef Pierre Roelof is the first of the collaboration dessert series and has created an exclusive dessert tub featuring Pidapipó’s watermelon sorbet. Melbourne will get its first and only taste of the watermelon, date and passionfruit dessert tub at Pidapipó Windsor and Carlton on Friday, September 2, 7pm-11pm for $14.
True to Roelof’s signature style dessert punters can expect many layers of unusual flavour and texture, making each mouthful a completely different experience.
On the same night Pidapipó Windsor will host one of Roelof’s highly demanded Dessert Evenings inside it’s laboratory space. The two-hour service from 7pm will feature four courses of plated gelato desserts including one of Roelof’s famous dessert tubes - hazelnut, treacle, moscatel, chocolate with moscatel vinegar gelato.
Only 20 guests will have the opportunity to experience this intimate one-off dining experience. Tickets are $70 and are available now on Eventbrite.
Details on each exclusive dessert plate will be revealed monthly on Pidapipó’s Instagram page
