Mediterranean Greek Tavern

Mediterranean Greek Tavern takes you on a diverse culinary trip through an array of traditional Greek cuisine melding time honoured techniques and flavours with little twists along the way courtesy of Head Chef Perry Pendas.

Our feast began with warm pita bread served with a delicious selection of house made dips. These dips were bold, vibrant and delicious and Perry is proud of the fact that each dip is made from scratch daily.

Freshness of produce is key at Mediterranean Greek Tavern and this was exemplified by the crispy and incredibly fresh whitebait - superb.

The prawn saganaki was a standout. The marriage of beautifully fresh, succulent prawns, sweet tomato and creamy feta was an unbeatable combination and was highly addictive.

The lamb was once again, expertly prepared. Cooked medium, the cutlets were incredibly tender and full of flavour. 

To finish, we indulged in the Mediterranean Greek Tavern’s rendition of a vanilla slice (Greek-style) which was lovely with Greek coffee.
