Brooklyn Depot

Brooklyn Depot is an all-American eatery and bar concept was first launched on the Gold Coast in 2015.

Only a month since it's grand opening and the eatery already has a cult following - which comes at no surprise given their string of awards including ‘best hamburgers’, ‘best milkshakes’, ‘winner of cheap eats’, ‘best loaded fries’ and ‘best new restaurant’ by local and state press. 

Brooklyn Depot is inspired by old Brooklyn and their handcrafted, high quality and unique burgers, hot dogs, salads and desserts have kept ravenous locals and visitors coming back again and again. 

We loved tasting our way through the menu.

To start we recommend the Harlem chicken tenders. Strips of slightly crumbed buttermilk chicken are served with an addictive BBQ sauce.

For mains, you cannot go wrong with their juicy burgers and mouth-watering hot dogs but if you want something to share, do not go past the Texas style beef short ribs. The beef short ribs were tender and delicious, courtesy of being slow cooked for 6 hours after being rubbed with authentic BBQ spice. Simply delicious!

Brooklyn Depot has your American sweet cravings covered as well. Whatever you do, do not leave without having the caramel pecan chocolate brownie - Think freshly baked caramel filled chocolate brownie, topped with ice cream, crushed pecans and a drizzle of salted caramel sauce.
