Busy Boy

Located in Mentone, Busy Boy is a gorgeous café serving up a great range of brunch options.
We loved all of the dishes we ordered which were each incredibly generous.
The cheekily named dish of Busy Greens was a delicious and nutrient dense mix broccolini, asparagus, kale, avocado, pumpkin hummus and popcorn falafel topped with luxurious zaatar dressing and almond flakes.
The freekah and lamb salad was similarly delicious. We loved the tender and perfectly cooked slices of lamb served a top a stunning amalgamation of spiced freekah, kale, carrot, radish, heirloom tomato, fresh herbs, crispy pita and finished with tahini and yoghurt dressing.
If you have a sweet tooth (or would like something sweet to share to conclude your visit) we highly recommend the orange blossom hotcakes. Think fluffy hotcakes adorned with orange cream, vanilla bean mascarpone, fresh berries, caramelised orange, raspberry coulis and pure maple syrup. Just yum!
As expected of any good Melbourne café, coffee is great and poured by adept baristas. There are also plenty of other drink options including decadent milkshakes and smoothies.
