The couple’s love for coffee is evident in the quality of brew you get here. Expect delicious Campos coffee poured by adept baristas. For the coffee aficionado, a good selection of single origin coffee from farms across Africa, South and Central America as well filter and cold drip coffee will keep you entertained.
The menu has something for everyone. Traditionalist are well taken care of and there are plenty of inspiring brunch options for the more adventurous. Oh and it just so happens these guys cater for dietary requirements well. Really really well.
Our top picks include the gnocchi. Think fluffy melt in your mouth pillows of kale and parmesan gnocchi served with pear, asparagus, edamame, dehydrated tomato and goats cheese. It’s a thing of beauty.
The bomba is similarly delicious – crispy on the outside and moist on the inside and generously topped with crispy Berkshire bacon, the most luxurious pork chorizo, poached eggs encasing runny yolk, tomato and tarragon hollandaise and a good dollop of spiced pepper puree.
The vegan breakfast is yet another highlight. A beautiful assembly of deliciousness – homemade beetroot hummus, mjaddara, buckwheat and chia bread (gluten free), spiced popcorn tofu, crispy cauliflower and apple, avocado, walnut and mint smash.
The poke bowl is also worth a mention - a cheeky take on the poke, we loved that this one does away with rice and instead is served with bouncy ribbons of rice noodles.
The pièce de résistance, pistachio and olive oil cake is a must have. For sweet tooths look no further, or, if you fancy concluding your brunch on a sweet note – this is one that is perfect to share. This gluten free treat is wonderfully moist and served with spiced orange labneh, vanilla braised rhubarb which boasts just the right level of tartness and burnt orange gel for a gentle bitterness and finished with crunchy pistachio granola. Simply wonderful.
