East & Co in Balwyn is a new café by the well-loved team behind Hutch & Co Lilydale. Taking over the former White Mojo location, this is a beautifully relaxed café that served hearty brunch fare that will warm your tummy and hearts.

If you love your eggs for breakfast, the folded omelette is a must have. A jazzed up version of the original, this is served with roast pumpkin, caramelized onion, pickled asparagus, sautéed spinach, citrus basil oil, chorizo crumb and torn burrata cheese.

For health fiends the spring nourish bowl is a real crowd pleaser. Packed with nutrients, the bowl is a stunning amalgamation of broad bean and spinach hummus, charred pumpkin, roasted Dutch carrots, roquette, spiced nuts, pomegranate and brought together by a creamy cumin yoghurt dressing.

If you feel like something less breakfast and more lunch, we highly recommend the ricotta gnocchi. Think pillow soft gnocchi tossed with green peas, asparagus, salsa verde, broad beans, torn burrata and crispy capers.
