/Hotel Lord Byron is an elegant, private villa steps from the magnificent Villa Borghese Gardens. The theme here is Art-Deco meets timeless elegance. Stepping into Hotel Lord Byron, you feel like you have stepped into the home of a chic art collector with impeccable taste. The villa is surrounded by a vast collection of paintings and sculptures (over the years this has included works by Maurice Paul Joron and Nicholas Granger Taylor) which all work together cohesively to create a comfortable and tranquil atmosphere.
We absolutely loved staying in one of Hotel Lord Byron's luxurious rooms. Vivid art deco glamour permeates throughout, with designs and original works inspired by the 1930s luminary Emile-Jacques Ruhlmann. Our room was spacious and boasted a king size bed, walk in wardrobe and sumptuous Carrara marble bathroom filled with exclusive Lorenzo Villoresi bath products.
The hotel's restaurant, Sapori del Lord Byron, is renowned in Rome for its haute cuisine and creative interpretations of classic Roman dishes using only the freshest of the region’s seasonal ingredients. The hotel also features the sophisticated Il Salotto Lounge and Wine Bar which is a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing and shopping.
During our stay, each staff member delivered impeccable service and attention to detail. The professionalism and experience of the staff combined with the luxuriously appointed rooms made our stay at Hotel Lord Byron a memorable one.
