Lexis Suites Penang

Lexis Hotel Group provides discerning leisure and business guests with practical and luxurious accommodations across various properties in Malaysia. The brand has three beautiful properties, including Lexis Suites Penang, which opened for business during the 1st quarter of 2016.

We absolutely loved staying in Lexis Suites Penang. Offering a unique experience, Lexis Suites Penang is the perfect destination for business travelers and leisure seekers.

Nestled along the idyllic beach of Teluk Kumbar and overlooking the Straits of Malacca, Lexis Suites Penang is about three and a half hours drive from Kuala Lumpur, about 40 minutes to Gurney Drive, 15 minutes to the Second Penang Bridge and a mere ten minutes’ drive from Penang International Airport. By air, it takes about 55 minutes from KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport).

An embodiment of contemporary design coupled with luxurious fittings, Lexis Suites Penang is designed by a team of world-class, award-winning architects. Spacious yet cosy, each of the 222 suites are tastefully decorated and showcases floor-to-ceiling glass doors in its guestrooms, allowing generous amount of natural light into the abode.

Premium Pool Suite

Offering breath taking seascape, this upgraded category measures 968 sq ft (89 sq mtr) and features two king beds with floor-to-ceiling glass windows for that spacious, airy feeling.

Aesthetically pleasing, each of the suite is enrobed in bright and cheerful tone and equipped with quality furnishings and amenities.

The most exciting part of the room is that this seaside property is the ONLY resort in the island that boasts the luxury and convenience of a private dip pool and steam room in every suite (and yes, that's not a typo, it's EVERY room). This feature on its own is worth the fuss.

Dining and Entertainment

An array of food and beverage outlets offer guests an opportunity to sample various cuisines that Lexis Suites Penang has to offer. From all-day dining to contemporary fare from the Land of the Rising Sun, each outlet charms diners with its own unique character and culinary offerings.

There's a stunning sunset buffet dinner that runs on weekends that is not to be missed. The dinner is right on the beach and features an array of local delights. Think cook-to-order grilled satays, aromatic curries, stir-fried noodles and sweet treats to finish.

UMI Japanese Restaurant

Our favourite culinary offering at Lexis Suites is Umi Japanese restaurant. With emphasis on taste, presentation and freshness, UMI Japanese Restaurant welcomes diners to its avant-garde setting. Meaning ‘sea’ in Japanese, UMI serves a wide range of well-known Japanese menus including tempura, sashimi, teppanyaki and other seasonal specialties inspired from the Land of the Rising Sun. Tatami rooms are available for guests who wish to dine in privacy.

Tailored guest experiences...

Among the locals and overseas tourists, Penang definitely needs no further introduction. Fondly known the Pearl of the Orient, this island is a melting pot of cultural diversity and boasts of numerous sandy beaches. It is a popular destination for business or pleasure.

The lovely folk at Lexis Suites are keen to please and that means tailoring your stay on this amazing island to fit all the things you want to do and see - from airport transfers to visiting a turtle sanctuary to eating durians in Balik Pulau.
