Miss Pings
/Miss Ping’s Thai eatery is spicing up Glen Waverley. Set in the outdoor precinct at The Glen, Miss Ping’s presents a modern take on authentic Thai cuisine with zing and flair.
Open seven nights a week, the restaurant boasts a full service lunch and dinner menu complete with a cocktail bar. Set amongst a tropical setting complete with 1940’s style wicker chairs and tropical wallpaper as well as a huge banana plant feature in the middle of the restaurant, the colourful and vibrant restaurant pays homage to the mystery and intrigue of a night in Bangkok.
We loved eating our way through Miss Ping’s menu. Think aromatic satays, comforting Fish curries and beautifully cooked Crying Tiger steaks. The drinks menu are just as colourful, with cocktails that spark memories of sunny beaches to quirky beverages sold in food markets.
This enticing venture is created by hospitality veteran and Thailander owner, Winnie Chiang. Miss Ping’s Doncaster launched last May 2018 to rave reviews. Winnie took her cooking expertise and started her venture in the restaurant business with Thailander, a modern take on authentic Thai cuisine using fresh produce cooked to order. Since opening the first concept store in Little Collins St, Thailander has expanded its reach; franchising the concept to include locations such as Chadstone, QV and Melbourne Central. Following Thailander’s success, Miss Ping’s is the ultimate expression of Winnie’s creativity; mixing elements of historical and modern Thai cuisine.
The Miss Ping’s family is deeply passionate about their craft and is dedicated in giving you an unforgettable sensory experience. Miss Ping’s is a celebration of Thailand at its finest: bright lights, scrumptious delicacies with an element of surprise.
