Mr Hoddle

Named after surveyor general Robert Hoddle, who designed Melbourne’s grid layout and christened the suburb of Prahran in 1840, Mr Hoddle captures the great vision for a city that brings people together. It is simply the perfect destination to unwind and celebrate delicious food and excellent drinks in a relaxed atmosphere.

Mr Hoddle is perhaps best known for its delicious wood fired pizzas but there is so much more to this eatery. Our favourite dishes include the dish of tender octopus served with garlic, chilli infused EVOO and preserved lemon. For something heartier, do not go past the twice cooked lamb shoulder. The lamb simply melted in our mouths and was served with smoked eggplant, luxurious whipped chevre, Moghrabieh couscous, capers, pickled red onion and saltbush.
