Pascale Bar & Grill

Designer hotel QT Melbourne‘s Pascale Bar & Grill has recently welcomed Executive Chef Andy Harmer's (Vue de Monde, The Point, D.O.M).
Designed to pay homage to the ‘Paris-end’ of Collins Street, the eatery boasts bold industrial chic and emphasis on high-fashion.
The new menu is elegant and refined and allows guests to indulge in an expansive, French-infused, Euro bistro inspired men to satisfy and intrigue foodies.
Thoughtfully designed, the open bustling kitchen will offer a glimpse into the creation of the dishes. The wood-fired ovens and tempting glass encased display playing host to the Madame of all patisseries.
To start we recommend the Home-made Truffle & Mushroom Linguine. This is one hearty, flavoursome dish that will leave you wanting more. We loved the rich earthy flavours and the slippery linguine. Simply fabulous.
For mains the WA Wood Fired Marron is wonderfully light and served with a creamy Chorizo Blanc sauce and tangy desert lime. This dish showcases the natural sweetness of the marron.
If you are after something heartier, the steaks at Pascale are not to be missed. Displaying a mastery in the manner the steak was cooked, our inch thick cut of O’Connor’s Eye Fillet steak was cooked perfectly from end to end. A light searing ensured that it was lined with a thin crisp layer packed with caramelised beef flavour.
Simply sensational.
A duo of desserts concluded our evening on a sweet high. Think a refreshing dessert of Alpine Strawberries served with Eucalyptus and an absolutely decadent and classy rendition of a Snickers Bar served with Salted Caramel. It’s all good.
Harmer’s arrival has certainly taken Pascale Bar & Grill to the next level.
