Starward launches Red Manhattan

Starward have launched their second bottled cocktail, the limited-edition Red Manhattan, in collaboration with Adelaide Hills Distillery - a classic American cocktail reimagined with an Australian twist.

Red Manhattan is a distillery batched cocktail made with Starward single grain whisky matured in Australian red wine barrels, a bespoke red wine vermouth infused with native botanicals, from Adelaide Hills Distillery, and bitters.

The result of this collaboration is the Red Manhattan, a one-of-a-kind bottled cocktail that is bright, balanced and full of flavour.

World Whisky Day at Starward

Saturday 18th May is World Whisky Day and Starward – pioneers of new world whisky, have plenty of reasons to celebrate at their Port Melbourne Distillery.

On World Whisky Day, Starward will be showcasing their signature whiskies matured in Australian red wine barrels for food and drink lovers alike. In conjunction with SouthTrade International, Starward will bring the whisky flavours of the world to life at their distillery for sampling, along with some innovative limited releases available for purchase for the first few attendees.

The talented folk behind the Starward bar will be creating a variety of exciting boilermakers and special drinks that will please everyone’s palate; from those starting out on their whisky journey to the whisky connoisseur, and everyone in between - wherever you sit on the whisky scale, Starward has you covered.

Throughout the day, enjoy a sensory experience and discover whiskies from 6 different countries including Australia, America, Scotland, Ireland, Japan and India, by collecting stamps as you travel the whisky globe in your ‘Whiskies of the World’ passport. Then, tuck into some of Melbourne’s best brisket and meats from Big Earl’s Roadhouse barbeque, or from Indian Street Food Wallahs, Babajis Kitchen, to match perfectly with your dram.
