/Specialty coffee and dessert studio lab, Sugar Labo have just launched a weekend Japanese Style Brunch.
Expect all your favourite sweet treats and amazing drink options but now with an extensive savoury Japanese inspired brunch menu.
To start, we recommend the kaki katsu to share which is deep fried oysters topped with wasabi mayo and tobiko.
For something more substantial try the deluxe omurice which is fluffy rice topped with rich Japanese curry and served with crispy ebi katsu, chicken katsu and cheese tonkatsu topped with a gooey omelette.
If you love unagi then do not go past the unagi tamoyoyaki don. Think generous slice of umami-laden grille eel with the fluffiest tamagotaki served with a lovely unagi sauce, seaweed and sesame seeds. This dish also comes with a miso soup.
If you want something more interesting, then we recommend the volcano roasted beef don. Think layers upon layers of roasted beef that is cooked medium rare topped with gooey pasteurised egg, rice and a homemade secret sauce.
