T-Roy Browns
/One of Melbourne's favourite coffee haunts, T-Roy Browns has recently upped the ante on its menu with the addition of Petros Dellidis into the kitchen.
Petros was most recently head chef at Shane Delia's Maha until late last year and was previously also the man at the helm of the Press Club. His experience includes developing the menus for the TV series, Spice Journey and travelling abroad to do the same for various international restaurants.
When Petros left Maha, owner Troy Benjamin caught up with him and the moons aligned. Today, Petros has created a restaurant quality menu of healthy food which incorporates seasonal produce. We adored the new menu - Petros' time at Maha shines through with Middle Eastern flavour influences throughout which makes for an interesting departure from the usual brunch options around town.
The build your own meal option is sensational for a clean meal that sings with quality ingredients and plenty of flavour.
There's also the "Lean" egg white omelette with plump mushrooms, garden peppers, avocado and cream cottage cheese which is excellent.
For those looking to spoil themselves, the menu has some naughtier options like their ridiculously decadent shake made with caramelised white chocolate, pretzel, vanilla ice cream, pecan, rosemary and milk. Just delish!
T-Roy Browns continues to impress with its excellent coffee, now they have a compelling food menu to match.
