The Cliveden Bar & Dining

Nestled in the iconic Pullman Melbourne on the Park and positioned opposite the leafy Fitzroy Gardens, The Cliveden Bar & Dining is a casual dining experience perfect for post-work catch ups as well as small and larger gatherings. 

We loved tasting our way through the menu. 

To start the heirloom tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad was a stunner. This cheese sensation demonstrated that unforgettable dishes can sometimes be very simple. In this instance, a sliced ball of unadulterated Shaw River buffalo mozzarella simply paired with olive tapenade, heirloom tomato, mandarin oil and basil crisp and finished with EVOO. 

For mains we loved the whole baby Barramundi served with Romesco, fried capers and char-grilled witlof. The fish was cooked to absolute perfection and tasted very fresh. Highly recommended!

One for the meat-lovers, the Millawarra free-range rack of lamb was truly satisfying and very hearty. This beauty was served with layered potatoes, goats curd mousse, heirloom carrot and chimichurri.

Dessert time continued to please at Cliveden Bar & Dining. Whatever you do, make sure you try the Burnt Basque cheesecake. A decadent dessert topped with lime gel, wattle seed crumble, white chocolate raspberry shards, burnt honey glaze and strawberry gum sorbet, it’s simply divine.
