We recently had a little weekend staycation at the hotel. Here is what we got up to…

6pm - Canapés and drinks at the Executive Lounge
Positioned on Level 18 of the hotel, the new Executive Lounge features plush velvet sofas, marble tables, a large flat screen TV and bar area making it the perfect place to relax and take in the sweeping views of the MCG and the iconic city skyline towards Port Phillip Bay.
Rooms and suites with lounge access can enjoy breakfast served daily as well as delicious evening canapés and refreshments served daily from 6-8pm. We thoroughly enjoyed our little pre-dinner tipple at the lounge.
7pm - Dinner at Cliveden Bar & Dining
Nestled in the iconic Pullman Melbourne on the Park and positioned opposite the leafy Fitzroy Gardens, The Cliveden Bar & Dining is a casual dining experience perfect for post-work catch ups as well as small and larger gatherings. The menu is where the best local Victorian produce meet traditional European preparations and Australian native ingredients. Read more about it HERE.
DAY 2
8am- Breakfast at the Cliveden
After a good night’s sleep, we were back at The Cliveden to enjoy their new buffet breakfast offering which was truly a market place of Australia’s favourite providores.
The spread features an assortment of locally sourced and supplied produce from several well-known Victorian businesses. The Pullman’s commitment to high quality, fresh products and ingredients is one of the drivers behind the new concept. The proof was in the pudding - everything we had was absolutely delicious from the sunny side up eggs from Green Eggs to the flaky croissants made by Penny For Pound.
9am - A little stroll in Fitzroy Gardens
With the gorgeous Fitzroy Gardens located right next to the hotel, we couldn’t resist taking a little stroll and enjoying all its natural beauty after our decadent buffet breakfast.
11am - Check out
We had a truly wonderful stay at the Pullman Melbourne on the Park. The hotel’s iconic location at the edge of Melbourne’s famous Fitzroy Gardens; its beautifully renovated rooms; access to the inviting new Executive Lounge; and great food and bar offering made this a memorable experience.
