Isan Soul
/

Isan Soul is a bustling and vibrant restaurant in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. The decor is inspired by the sights and sounds of Thailand and is incredibly relaxed with a welcoming vibe.
We loved tasting our way through their menu. To start, the curry puffs and Bangkok style chicken wings were a winner.
For mains we fell in love with the steamed whole barramundi in chilli and lime sauce. It was absolutely stunning and wonderfully fresh. The addition of lime added a wonderfully zesty flavour to the dish that was very addictive. The hot basil chicken was another crowd favourite. Boasting a wonderfully char from being stir-fried on high heat in a wok, this was very flavoursome and perfect with fluffy rice. The massaman curry was also amazing. The dish consisted of tender, flavour-infused beef morsels thoroughly coated in a mouth-watering curry of various spices.
