The Espressionist at home
/

The Espressionist is a lovely café located at Yarra’s Edge in the Docklands. The venue currently offers a café experience in a takeaway capacity and has also turned into a makeshift greengrocer. The cafe menu features a range of brunch staples including healthy Acai Bowls and beautiful salads. In the evening, the venue offers a range of takeaway dinner options with its introduction of The Bait Shop by The Espressionist serving old school fish and chips with a flair as well as ready-to-heat meals.
We loved the Satay Chicken Salad which boasted tender chicken morsels laced with decadent satay sauce atop a mix of glass noodles tossed with Asian slaw. The grilled salmon Caesar was similarly delicious – think crispy skinned salmon with crisp greens, smokey bacon and anchovy, all brought togetherer by a luxurious creamy dressing.
