The Providore

The Providore Swan Bay Farm is a food lover’s destination, a well-known meeting hub for locals and food enthusiasts alike, based in the heart of Deepdene, Melbourne.

Committed to a paddock to plate ethos The Providore’s mission is simple - to educate others on the importance of a more sustainable life, supporting like-minded, passionate local producers and eating well. 

The weekend brunch menu is particularly exciting with one side featuring Modern Australian options and the other side featuring Asian options.

We opted for an item from each menu and were very pleased with both.  

From the Mod Oz menu, the Goodlife Bowl was a real treat, a beautiful amalgamation of roasted cauliflower, sweet  potato, beetroot, quinoa, broccolini, asparagus and tasted seeds. From the Asian menu, we loved the Beef rendang. It was a hearty and rich dish full of punchy flavours which went really well with the fluffy steamed rice. 

With consistently good coffee, seasonal produce and friendly staff, The Providore is certainly worth the trip down to Deepdene.
