From the moment you arrive, the experience is seamless. The staff have an almost psychic ability to know what you want and ensure you are provided with it before you have to ask. When it comes to feeling completely at ease, little touches, like never being asked for your room number at breakfast, or to sign a bill after a meal mean a lot.
The interior design is wonderful, uniting traditional architecture with rich cultural references and modernist luxury. The hotel houses 9 uniquely designed suites with most boasting wonderful views of the Cretan Sea and Theodorou Island.
We loved staying in the Perspective Suite. A spacious sanctuary with stunning views to the sea, this room makes you feel immediately at home and at ease .as you take in the serene sounds of the waves below.

We started each day at the Theodore with a beautiful a la carte breakfast. There is truly something to suit everyone. From smashed avocado on toast to poached eggs encasing dripping yolk to homemade cakes and granola.
Everything is prepared fresh from locally sourced produce.
If you are feeling peckish throughout the day, the beachfront bar is versatile enough to take you from a light snack to a gratifying meal and make sure you have a signature cocktail to go with it. We loved everything we had. Stand outs include the Vegan Platter (you certainly do not have to be a vegan to enjoy this) which includes fluffy chickpea croquettes, marinated beetroot, luxurious hummus, creamy avocado puree and warm pita bread.
