The newly opened cafe in Abbotsford by coffee legends Undercover Roasters exceeds expectations with a wonderfully modern menu boasting healthy as well as naughty options which put flavour first.
We loved tasting our way through the menu. The miso pumpkin salad was a stunner - a delicious amalgamation of miso roasted pumpkin wedges served with miso freekah, tea soaked currants, herbs and a luscious cashew cream.
For something a little more decadent do not go past the chicken and waffles. This is perhaps the best version of chicken and waffles we have ever had in Melbourne. Think cheesy fluffy waffles topped with perfectly crunchy southern style fried chicken, pickled red onion, coriander, chilli and glossy maple butter.
As expected of any great Melbourne café, the coffee is delicious and poured by adept baristas.
