With Modern Australian cuisine, a fusion of international flavours and a focus on fresh local produce, Industry Beans’ brand new flagship store at Chadstone is more than a coffee shop, it is a space for fine dining. 

This welcoming new space combines a coffee roastery, cafe and restaurant in an architecturally stunning package. It is truly something that has to be seen to be believed.  From humble beginnings in Fitzroy, Industry Beans has expanded over the last 10 years with the introduction of venues across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane - the new Chadstone flagship offers an opportunity for customers to immerse themselves in the Industry Beans experience that has been cultivated over the past decade. 

The dining room is marshalled by excellent service staff, led admirably by Remy, who are highly efficient, very knowledgeable and pleasantly friendly and humble.

We loved tasting our way through their wonderful all-day dining menu. To start, the 12 hour cured kingfish was a beautiful melange of flavours and textures. The quality of the fish was exemplary and went perfectly with the crispy chilli oil, compressed papaya, seaweed crisp and sunrise lime.

The coffee rubbed quail with cured egg yolk, mango togarashi and kohlrabi was similarly delicious. Perfectly prepared, we loved the heady coffee rub.

For mains the sous vide salmon garden was as pretty as a picture and tasted even better. Tea dusted sous vide salmon was served with native succulents, pickled daikon and cucumber, purple congo potato, edible sand, Yarra Valley ror and wakame foam. A trust masterpiece for the senses!

Whatever you do, do not go past the Red Pepper Seared Beef. This was an absolutely stunning dish that showcased the calibre of the kitchen. Rare beef served with blueberry dust, nashi pear, espresso jus and yuzy gel. 

Dessert time continued to please with two perfectly executed sweet treats. The butterscotch creme brulee with espresso foam and candied orange was simply one of the best renditions of this classical French dish that we have ever had in Melbourne. The Coffee garden on the other hand was an homage to coffee and chocolate lovers - think chocolate creme trio, peanut chocolate soil, green matcha moss, berry gelato, chocolate twigs and coffee caviar. Amazing.
